About David
David Prowse CPA, CA, CVA, CEPA, CM&AA is the creator of this site, and is a professional M&A Advisor and certified Exit Planner. With over 25 years of consulting experience, David’s passion lies in value creation, business strategy, and understanding the “story” behind the numbers. He is a strong supporter of entrepreneurialism and believes that small and middle market business owners can empower themselves with the right knowledge, planning, and execution to grow their business and transition on their own terms.
David is Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA Ontario), Certified Valuation Analyst (National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts), Certified Exit Planning Advisor (Exit Planning Institute), and Certified M&A Advisor (Association of M&A Advisors). In his spare time, David enjoys hiking on local trails, watching baseball, and reading both fiction and non-fiction books.
